This is a two part question, 1) what are the
benifits of installing a high flow Catalytic
converter as compared to a stock converter?
( I already have JBA headers & a Dynomax super
turbo exhaust on my Dak )
2) where can I get one for a '99 3.9L V-6 ,
a web site and a part number would really help

Benifits are more flow, less back pressure more horsepower but I doubt you would see much gain unless you run a supercharger or NOS.

Motor is an air pump. Right? More gas and air in + more exhaust out = more H.P. (torque). Right? Stock cat MAY not flow as much as the rest of your system can. If it is a bottleneck, H.P. can be gained by going to a higher flow model. The highest flow I have seen was in a HOT ROD mag test and it was from a '98 Tahoe.

Any good web sites where one might be able
to obtain a high flow Cat? A site that actually
has them for a V-6 , 3.9L magnum A*s kicker.

Not sure if they have them on the site but they do sell them at less than $100.

MLP, if you don't like my '98 Tahoe idea then check on a Random Technology model. They ranked well in that same test. Check the links on this site and you will find companies that sell these things and can give you the part number you need.
