My 4.7 didn't like them. Very many others have installed them and claimed performance gains as well as other refinements. I don't think you could hurt anything with those. Since you already installed them..... I'd just drive it!

I have had the 3923's in my 4.7 for about 5 months now. I didn't notice a big difference, but I haven't noticed any negative points as well. It does seem to run a little smoother though.

I have the 3923's in my 4.7 also, no problems. I had the Bosch +4's but removed them because someone posted that they could possibly cause damage to the coil over plug design. Do not know if that is true but I did not want to take a chance. If anyone has experience with the Bosch +4's for the 4.7, I would like to hear from you.

hey steady, when i first got my 2000 4.7L i
deceided to try out the bosch plat +4's also....i
rant them for about 3 months, and with no increase
in gas mileage, or power i took them out. I also
have the problem with them making the engine have
a rough idle and almost wanted to stall. I have
posted a question about them on here before they
changed the platform, and a technician said he had
checked at work that the manual for the 4.7L high
recommended that any person put in platnuim plugs
into this engine to change them back out. From
what he had described that the resistance of the
platnium compared to copper was higher and caused
the coils on each plug to have to work harder and
wear out the coils quicker. The higher resistance
also caused a slight feedback, and made the
computer have difficulty regulating the timing. So
i have tried to put a warning out on the boards
each time the suggestion of the platniums come up.
I used the autolite 5224's in it right after and
it went back to normal. Right now i am trying out
the ever controverisal splitfire plugs for the
4.7L. So far i have noticed a change in power
according to the "butt dyno". My gas mileage
didn't change much but power did seem to change.
HOwever the biggest change in miles per gallon
taht i have seen was believe it or not was by
changing from mobile one synthetic to havoline
synthetic!!! a change in 2 miles per gallon on
highway!!! and about 1 mpg for city!!! so i hope
that helped some!!!
