ok, im just getting into performance, and i need some help. I plan on getting a
1)K&N intake
2)Gibson Dual Exit Exhuast
3)JBA or Gibson Headers
4)Chip, stage 2 i guess

Is there anything i should put on the list or take off? Is a throttle body a better upgrade than any one or two products? With the above, how much horsepower should my 99 5.2 4x4 get? and Bernard, can you get me all this stuff? THanks!

I have a suggestion about the exhaust. The dual exhaust looks cool and is probably louder. From the research I've done, a 3" single cat back will provide the best gain. I just installed a flowmaster force II on my 98 5.2 and I am very happy with the results. Bernd would know better than I, but that's what I concluded when researching the best exhaust for me.

Ive heard that too, but i really wanted a dual exit rear. I figured the extra couple of horsepower isnt worth it considering ive always wanted a dual exit exhaust. Thanks!

I have a dual exit flowmaster setup on my Dak(4.7) 4x4 and a single exit on my wifes Durango (5.2) 4x4. No difference in performance at all. Both feel like they got equal gains respective to each engine.

I think they have a full system for the 99's. Check their website www.flowmastermufflers.com

The mods will all work very well together but you really should look into a modified throttle body to help the engine breath better with the other mods. Stick with the Mopar PCM instead of the Jet-II on the 5.2/5.9L's...works MUCH better.

On the exhaust system, yup...a single 3" will make slightly more power than a single-dual exit system (exhaust pulses aren't fighting each other on the way out).

I can also get you all the parts...email me offlist and i'll put a quote together for you.
