 Subject: Volant Intake 1/4 mile times

I installed the new Volant Intake tube back in June and posted here. I finally made it to the track. After several runs with poor traction (and a much improved bottom end power curve) it is basically worth about .15 for your e.t. and about 1.5 mph at the big end. That's about 10 hp if you're wondering. I also drove home from the track on a 55-60 mph 2-lane road. Total of about 80 miles for me. My Club Cab 4.7 motor averaged 23 mpg (by the overhead computer) with the 5-spd and a 3.55 Limited slip. Not bad for a 4200 pound truck (with me in it).
