Chris or any other V6R,

I am planning on putting on a V8 TB on my 6. Do all the cruse controal and throttle likages work fine. Do all the v6 sensors/electronics swap to the V8 TB? Did you like the mod? Did it add acceleration or improve gas millage? Do you recomend the TB if the motor is stock. A Cat back is coming soon, have to do mods in my budget.

Thanks,
John

Depending on what year the V8 TB determines whether or not it will fit. I have a 95 Dak and i used a 94 V8 TB and everything was a direct bolt on, i've heard of other people having to modify it to make it fit. it definently improved performance. whatever gas milage difference it made was lost in my heavy foot. With the stock TB it wouldn't pull hard past 95. now with the V8 TB it'll pull all the way to around 120, my speedometer stopsat 110, the 98 v8 dak said we were going 120, and yes we where side by side. My motor was basicly stock when i put it on. I have a 95 x-cab v6 auto that runs 16.7's at 80 mph. you can check out my truck at http://www.angelfire.com/la3/finedak
good luck, also other very good mods to consider are underdrive pulleys, elec fan, a good intake. and a good exhaust. those mods will make a noticiable difference, oh and also Bernd's IAT adjuster.
