Ive got an 02 Kota w/ the 3.9 in it. I thought of doing a mild (10 psi) turbo build on it. Does anyone know how much power the internals will hold before they start breaking?

I don't think the stock engine will last very long with 10psi of boost unless you take care of any possibilities of detonation.

I understand the need for proper A/F ratios and spark timing. Im already working on that portion of my write up. What I need to know is, in a perfect environment, how much boost will a 3.9l hold before things start to break.

Try posting this question on the V6 board. The guy
you want to hear from is Larry of J&J auto. He's
built up more then a few 3.9's including a few
strokers.
