IIRC, isn't the '08 a drive by wire? If so there is not throttle cable or trans TV cable.

We offer throttle body adapter plates that allow you to bolt your 1999-2007 throttle body to the 2008-2009 intake.

Check them out on our site at www.AIRRAM.com

Also, I must add, the 2008 will outperform the 2002 H/O intake and or the 2003-2007 Intake. Every customer who has done this mod has been more then pleased with it.

If your 4.7L has an EGR then you will need an EGR delete. The EGR is in the way of the 2008 Intake and there is no way the 2008 Intake will fit wth the EGR installed. This starts in 2004 I beleive.

To Delete your EGR you will need the EGR block off plate & SCT tune to have it removed from the PCM. Sure the SCT is more money... but it will make MUCH MORE HP.

Well, if you're not sure when it started, how do you know which engine needs the EGR delete kit?

Where is this EGR so we can look for it?

The fact that you admit you don't know, means I may or may not get what I need, or I may needlessly buy more than required.

The easiest way to know is to pop your hood and look and see if you have an EGR. The EGR would be located on the DRIVERS SIDE HEAD at the back... It will be a canister shaped about the size of a coke can.

If you have an EGR... Then you need to remove it in order to mount the 2008 Intake. You will also need to have the EGR deleted on your PCM with a custom tune.

Hey. What years have this EGR? I thought the 4.7L didn't need it.

True. The 4.7L engine doesn't have EGR.

LOL... The 4.7L does have an EGR... Just not all of them. From 1999-2002 the 4.7L does not have an EGR... But from 2003-2010 they all have EGR.

If you want to run the 2008 intake on the 2006-2007 4.7L engines you will need to pick up the 2008 EGR. This will allow the 2008 intake to mount to the 2006-2007 4.7L engines.

I appologize for the information overload...
