Hi I just picked up a 94 5.2 out of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. I don't believe I am going to rebuild the motor completley as it has good compression. 1~180,2~165,3~170,4~160,5~160,6~170,7~160,8~170 The intake gaskets are leaking and the intake manifold gasket is blown (to be expected). I plan on putting the Mopar M1 intake P5007398AB and install kit P5007638. I am undecided if I am going to put the a cam from Krc in KRC 206 206/210-480/512 112 or if I am just going to put in 1.7:1 Harland sharp RR. I eventually plan on putting in a 50mm throttle body and the Mopar Performance PCM P5249545.... If any one has any advice on witch way I should go, or if you have a set up you like and would recommend any advice would be appreciated. The engine is going to replace my 3.9 eventually, so it is going to be a slow build I am in nothing of a hurry and would rather do it right when it is out than do it again when it is in. I use the truck for towing but it also can’t be afraid of the high rpm.
Thanks for all the help

i have a 98 dak 5.2 v8 magnum . . . i removed the magnum air box and put on a massive cone air cleaner with 4 inch hose . . . just did this today so i havent had time to interpret the effects.
- Any thoughts on adding a 50mm throttle body?
- Any suggestions on otherwise increasing quantity and quality of air to fuel ratio?
- I read suggestions of removing and cleaning the intake manifold...good or bad? Other housekeeping suggestions to increase performance?
I'm just looking to get my truck running as well as it possibly can for another year or two before i go for a newer model
