Nice job.

I've been thinking about turboing my 4.7- DIY.

But I'd like to take a modified 'Y' pipe back up into the engine compartment, so as to avoid manifold fabbing.

But when I looked, there is no real go place to run it up (or back down for that matter).

It might work, IF I wanted to take out the A/C evaporator, which I really don't.

Maybe an undercarriage mounted, but with an intake pipe for the air intake, so it wouldn't get so dirty and wet down there.

01 SLT QC, two tone paint,
OEM fender flares
Cab high Leer cap w/ double slider window,
Infinity sound, O/H computer
Tire and handling pack,
Trailer towing pack,

4.7 manual,
HO cams,
HO intake,
Ported the stock 68mm TB,
Homebrew 'true' CAI, w/ K&N
No belt driven clutch or cooling fan
No third cat.
SuperChips Tuner

Max dyno, NO short belts, etc.

Todd, go with a rear mounted turbo. It's cheap and easy.

I still prefer a turbo up in th eengine compartment as opposed to under the vehicle. not too mention they do need an oil pump to return the oil since it can't via gravity.

One thing the turbo repair/sales shop told me was to make damn sure their is NO RESTRICTIONS in returning the oil to the engine.

Mopar318, I think I saw those videos before. When are you going to take it for a cruise and video that?

What happened to your truck Todd?

Graph, Mopar318's tranny is blown so it probably won't be seeing the street for a while.

Sucks too because not long after his turbo got put on, the tranny went.

He built the manifold and pieced everything together by himself.

Did a good job too!

Dang that sucks that mopar318 blew his tranny out before he got to play for very long. :(

Well hopefully it will be fixed soon and he'll make us some videos.

Todd. Are you really parting with the Dakota? Or did someone post using your name?

My guess is someone is spoofing him. Todd needs to pay a little $$$ and buy it so this doesn't happen. But then with all the crap he's been getting from a certain poster he may not be interested in paying for further abuse...

What's your left foot doing?

I didn't wreck my truck, thank God.

Or should I have said it like they did:
I didn't wreak my truck. LOL

This spammer/flamer on this site is getting SO old. Asking him to grow up obviously won't work.

What will?
