Hey dude. We are going to Speedworld Friday night!

We got to get Rammer's truck tuned a little better. ANd my friend Frank is FINALLY taking his Z28 383 Stroker out now that we swapped in another Transmission into that Chebby!

Funny thing is my friend wants me to drive his car down the track for the first time while he video records!

I think he's a little scared of it. He doesn't have slicks and you can get up to 25 MPH on the street before punching it and it roasts the tires while going squirrly down the road!
That of course was with the tire pressure already let down low!

If it all works out, we'll have some new video this weekend.

Thought 1HotKadota could meet up with us again. It's been about 2 years dude!

Wow. I never realized it was 2 years. Sorry I couldn't make it but I was in Florida last weeks on vacation.

I really wanted to see that turbo Ram run too. Let me know the next time you go down and I will definitely be there.

Dude, I got my LSD last week. I've got my magnetic dial gauge already, but, do you know where to get the backlash adjuster tool? And how hard will this swap be?

Maybe with the right persuasion GraphiteDak can assist you with the install at a place of his choosing... Seeing as he's done it, has the tools, and know-how. :-)

What's your left foot doing?

Cool. I was told by a chrysler tech that the only part you need is the dial gauge and back lash thingy. I read on Dak-dango.com about how to make one yourself. So when are yous goin back to the track.

My wife drinks smirnoff sometimes. I actually don't like beer too much. The only stuff I can drink is Bud light because is tastes like water:)

I didn't have that tool either.

There's a guy buy the name of RAMTHIS on the other dodge board that walked me through mine.
Many EXPERIENCED mechanics are even afraid to do a rear diff!

I think I got mine together and kinda eye-balled it and used a feeler gauge!
Otherwise also used marking compund to get it looking good. I did have to buy a bigger 600 ft/lb impact to do the crush sleeve.

Rammer paid money to have his done by an experienced mechanic and you can hear his whine a little but it's ok.

I did mine myself and it's quiet. Even after towing that 8,000 Lb Toy Hauler through the mountains 3 times or so and all of the hard REALLY HARD driving mine sees. It's still quiet.
Except for the Auburn LSD when I turn sharp corners slowly.

Wow dude thats pretty good. Do I need to mess with the crush sleeve if I'm just doing the LSD? I will change my gearing later on after my turbo but for now I just want both tires to spin.
