Science was created before religion. If it were not for science, we would still be in the bush running around butt naked. Even Chimps use science.
Oh yeah, your "holy bible" was put together by a fascist group of bishops lead by Constantine back around 300 A.D. when he took a bunch of scattered scriptures and fabricated a book to help control the masses. Then he killed or banished all bishops who opposed his idea. Great way to start a lie!

Science however, deals with reality. And if you doubt me, check out the big bang theory. There is physical evidence of the big bang right now on your radio. So you can't say that it never happened or its just some stupid theory. God is a stupid theory thought up by those too ignorant to even try contemplating the universe and what it really is.
I know alot about science AND religion. How much do you know about science? I'm guessing not much if you have doubts about my previous post. All of that was factual. Unlike the perverted version of a book that has no real definition and relies on how its interpreted for you people to decide how to run your lives.
The sad thing is that without the bible and god's teachings, you people would have no reason to be decent human beings.
Now where is the physical evidence for god?

Tell me Bill Nye, what does the infinitely dense point of matter consist of that started the big bang. What caused the reaction that caused the expansion. Tell me when and where the expansion ends. I believe something greater than your or my infinitesimal mind can comprehend what caused all this. I believe it was God. And you got it wrong. The universe was created by two other universes rubbing together and spawning this one. Maybe YOU should watch the science channel more often. So tell me, what else has been factually proven by the bible. And I'm not talking about history related items that are shown in other books. I want to see some supernatural events that are factually proven.
And where the hell are dinosaurs and cavemen in the bible? I've not seen anything in there about that, but if it was divinely written, shouldn't god have told us about them?
And please explain the development of hell because it was never written in the old testament. Did god come up with that idea later on just to scare us?
Oh yeah, and every single atom of your body ws created in the sun, except hydrogen of course, how does that factor into god's great plan?
And the fact that we have proven that the universe is about 13.5 billion years old. Doesn't god say the earth is only like 7000 years old. THAT JUST DON'T COMPUTE MAN!!

You still haven't answered my questions and I asked first. Your the one is his blinded by what ever crap you have heard from your teachers TV or whatever. You accept it as fact. Everything you've mentioned concerning the orgin of the universe is Theory. It cannot be proven. I've always had an open mind, and my faith and beliefs were not conveyed to me by anyone behind any podium, including my professors. It's FAITH. I can't prove it either, but I have it. You should try it. I don't attend a church, synagogue, temple, shrine, or mosque. But I know in my heart that there is a God and he created everything by his own method, beyond anyones comprehension. Your views classify humans and all life for that matter as a virus, and I believe there is more to life than that.

Your right, no one can explain what happened a few trillionths of a second before the big bang. But we do know what happened, and why it happened, from then until now. There are you happy. It's more of an explanation for existence than what you have proposed. Which is nothing at this point.
So far you have given no support to your argument proving god and like all of the followers, you rely on "faith" as your excuse for believing a fairy tale.
Ball's in your court. Can you provide an answer to anything else I have said, or is your entire faith based entirely on the fact that there was no "Big Bang"?

Science Major first claims things in the bible have been proven; then later, posting as "nor have you" says the bible must be taken as faith. That's because nothing in the bible has ever been proven ! Maybe Science Major should try a course in philosophy, to understand why these statements are at odds with each other, and prevent his presentation of a logical argument !

Mathematical formula supports the model. But the key word is "model". It can't be proven. It's really their best logical guess as to what happened, and the mathematics to support THEIR "therory". Until physicists can identify all the elements, the cause of the reaction, itself, the role gravity played into it, the "big bang model" will stay just what it is: A "therory". You don't know why, and that, it supposedly happened because it cannot be proven. It's kind of like the existance of God would't you say? The only thing that can be proven is the expansion itself. Nothing as to the cause or rate. You put your faith in man who has been proven time and time again as flawed. And always will be. There is nothing illogical about my argument. Give it 25 years and there will be a new therory on the table to debate just as we have here. I guess I will agree to disagree with you. I'm finished. BTW there is a Santa Claus. I saw him in the mall last December.

All evidence of your faith is based on books written by men. How well do you know the men who wrote the bible? Were they worldly men with vast amounts of knowledge and understanding. This I highly doubt. Anything idea from man can be wrong. We were wrong about phlogiston, Zeus and the other multitude of gods that supposedly made our world go round. We were wrong about the earth being flat as well, but do you think after all of the misconceptions we've had throughout time that the bible and the idea for your perversion of the Jewish religion is the only thing the human race was right about? Or do you really believe that the bible was written by god and not men?
