they are down the street from my girlfriends house, and i called them asking for dyno sheets for the 5.2 and the 4.7. he said he has a small shop and dose not have acces to a dyno. he also said if you are not satisfied with the quality you can take it back within 30 days for a full refund.

Thanks Kota, I too gave the guy a call and he wants 639.00 for the chip (on sale right now for 449.00) and I would have to send the PCM to him for the work (2 day turn around). If I want to keep the factory program (extra chip) it would cost an additional 30.00 bucks for the 4.7 liter. I don't know, that's a good chunk of change. Anybody have experience with this Asechip?

This could be the greatest thing since sliced bread!! But..........

I think I would just wait and listen to see what happens. If they don't have access to a dyno, how do they know what kind of effect their changes have on the actual performance? If I were going to spend that kind of money, I would spend it with somebody that has a proven track record. I'm certainly not saying that anything ASE does is wrong, uninformed or even any different than what Leach or Zimmer would do......but how would you know? Until last week, I had never even heard of them.

What changes do they claim to make or what kind of performance benefits do they say to expect? Does it change the timing? fuel curves? rev-limiter? speed limiter? shift points for the automatics? Does it still pass emissions testing? Does it require premium fuel? Does it effect fuel mileage?...........so many questions.

i agree duner, he clames 20-25 Hp but i dont know how he can tell the performance gains without using a dyno. it does require 92 oct, gets rid of the top speed limiter, and advances timing. i guess if someone dosent like it they can always take it back. I think i am going with leach, because of him record and he is cheaper.
