Anybody here done a IFS to straight front axle swap on a 4X4 Dakota? I have a 96 Dakota 4X$ Sport 3.9L automatic. All stock. Making some plans though. I have seen pictures of people putting Dana 44s from a late '70s Ford Bronco under the Dakotas and was wonderring if anybody here had. If so, anything extremely difficult about it? Just anything that I might not have thought of.

The rear end is from a 2004 ram 1500 disk brake, 4.88 traklock (because of the speed sensor). 20x12 centerline flint wheels with 38" mickey thompson MTZ. swayaway piggy back shocks 14" travel. flipped the rear leaf spring shackles with the front brackets of the rear leaf spring off a 1979 chevy truck You need to have cutom brakelines made dodge to ford is wierd. I have about $12,000 in just parts alone . I did all of the work myself. it looks sick but very expensive.
