I found two bad rims on my 2000 Dak,{8,000 miles}the silver coating was starting to come off in big chips all round the rim at the tire.{they are the 8-ins rims}You might want to look at yours!The dealer didn't give me any trouble about getting me new ones,they sent me a card and said they where in.
Any body that has a Dak with less than 12,000 better ck your rotors before you hit 12,000,Chrysler brakes are junk.My boy does more brake jobs on Chrysler cars and trucks than any other at Tuffy Muffler.Chrysler made a change in the Dakota 2000 or 2001 roters and they cost big bucks.
