I have a '03 Dakota R/T CC ... what increase in performance can I get if I add a K&N FIPK, Mopar M1 intake, and a MSD 6A, and a MSD blaster coil? The rest of the engine is stock.

The M1 intake will move your power up a little higher, and add a few ponies.

K&N drop in flat filter will do nothing. But a more open cold air intake will add some ponies.

Ignition upgrades will do nothing for power production over stock parts in good condition. The multiple sparks sometimes make for better cold starts and a smoother idle.

Have you considered new rocker arms? Computer reprogram? Lower rear gears? New heads? Those items will make solid improvements.

Exhaust is probably one of the worst investments. A cat back system is pretty expensive, and provides little - if any - power improvement.

The only way to change the exhaust and make more power on a mostly stock engine is headers (preferably tri-Y) and a full dual exhaust with an X pipe. Unfortunatly, that's illegal everywhere in the US. Headers, new Y pipe, high flow cat, and a large muffler and exhaust pipe will make an improvement in the mid range and top end. But you're talking about $1K or so for quality parts. Otherwise, leave it alone unless you want to improve the sound.

Now, if you significantly improve the intake - M1, large TB, heads, blower, etc - then improving the exhaust will make a big differance.
