ok thanks thats what i needed to know. i was asking how i could get the hp to not drop at 5500. i did also ask how i could get more revs in the first couple posts cuz i didnt know it was as complicated. when you say that my "setup is not right" i already knew that. thats why i asked what i could do to make my setup right to get the higher rpms.

will 1.7rr work with 458/467 lift? or is it too much?

Hers how mines goes...idle-2900k feels somewhat torquey but not insane. 3k to redline doesnt exist. Its goes through it before I know it..lol

You could use the cam wiht 1.7..yes. You may need flashed though.

Flash means to reflash the computer for the fuel trim and timing required by a different cam.

Do you have the M1 intake? Or the stock Beer Barrel? I have the M1, It looks like this

i wanna say thats the intake. i mean it looks like it from what i can tell but i cant be 100% sure.

how would i go about flashing the computer?

you'll have to have someone like B&G flash it. i'm sure someone else will chime in about the best place to get it done.

if your truck is a daily driver, you may want to buy an extra PCM to get by while yours is being flashed.
