nah it wasnt't 500ft more like 300ft and the truck wasn't actually moving 90mph but the tires were.

looks like you're gonna have a great motor fed.

are you going to do the work or are you going to pay someone?

haha..

toolfan this was a performance rebuild

i got a 208/214 duration cam from hughesengines
along with their 1.6 rocker kit, retainers,
hardened pushrods, and springs, and 9.8
keith black flat tops pistons, then i had the
heads cleaned up along with porting the intake
manifold. Pretty much everything is new
internally except the bottom end..

it cost me so far roughly $3,000 for parts and
the labor to have the engine rebuilt and cleaned
up.

i still need to buy a larger throttle body, the v6 mopar
performance pcm, msd ignition, and
some tranny mods to get the FULL effect :)

ill keep ya posted

Congrats on the rebuild; those trucks don't weigh all that much. That should be a blast to drive.

What octane gas are you running with that higher compression ratio?

Or is it not pinging on 87 Octane?

Thank you..

well i had a full tank of 87 in there already so i just drove 200 miles or so
and it ran fine, then i put 10 gallons 110 octane of racing fuel to even things out HAHA,
I couldnt tell a difference in power or any noise with 87 so im gonna stick with 89 or 91 octane just to be safe.
