I forgot the DD.com search engine on the Yahoo address, now for non members.
If I remember correctly, the nv3500 can take 30weight oil? HOw much?
My shop manual states the DC fluid only.

The nv-3500 takes 5w-30 motor oil, I'm running Amsoil 5w-30 diesel oil in mine.
If I remember correctly it takes 2.25L of fluids.

I've used Amsoil 10-30 and it works pretty well. Also used the Pennzoil Syncromesh replacement, it shifted a little better than the Amsoil. Right now I'm using Redline MTL and it shifts the best for me. It's supposed to have a friction modifier that lets the syncros grab better than straight engine oil.
Two quarts is a plenty, it's all I've ever put in mine. (third one now, all over 200,000 MI)

I've seemed to lost your # again, I'll look for your e-mail when I'm home.
I'd like to try the G tech agian with my 3.92 gears, before I'm about to buy my second set of tires @ ~104,000miles. (third set if you count the ones that came on it.)

Visit a few race tracks,
ask drivers who is their parts supplier
often they have a trailer right there in the pits,
probably not in stock but easy to order from him.
