ok, i've been replacing my power steering pump on my 98 dak sport. i have everything reinstalled thx to all the help here. EXCEPT the two hoses, i cant for the life of me remember wich is the return ( the one that is bolted on or the one sthat just slides on the power steering pump?? My second problem is that the two female threded areas on the steering rack are vertical, one on top of the other, and i forgot wich hose goes in the upper and wich hose connects to the lower one. This is one of the last things i have to do to get up and running, could someone point a noob to mopar in the right direction?thanks

The return line doesn't see any pressure, and is the one that "slides" onto the single barb fitting. As for the other problem, the return line plugs into the bottom(at least it does on my 97 rack and pinion)
If it doesn't fit, force it. If it breaks...well...it needed to be replaced anyway.
