No, I don't want to put a V-6 in place of my 318. What I'm looking for, is to replace my V-8 fender badges with V-6 fender badges.
Can't find any at the local junk yards.
I'm just tired of hemis and Titans acting like they want to race and then pu$$ing out when they see either the V-8 badges and/or the stick when they look at what they're getting ready to run against.
Anybody got some V-6 badges they want to sell cheap?
And don't you'all give me a load about how this is cheating, it's called being a sleeper.

It's not being a sleeper it's just lying. If you wanna be a sleeper just take the badges off. Cuz I know as soon as I put a V8 in my V6 off come the badges.

just pull them off, unless they have the holes in the fender, then you can throw something on there that will really confuse them, like "vtec", "type-R", a big ole "H", or even a 5.0 badge.
Try your dealer, or check out a bodyshop.

OR:

You could remove your stock emblems and cover the pin holes (if there are any: there were on my '99) with some of the emblems that the few 4-cylinder Daks got. That is, the ones that just say "Magnum Power". This way they won't even know what's under the hood! If they know a thing about Dakotas like us, they'll think "Oh, it's just a wimpy 4 cylinder!"

Just what I would probably do!

P.S. I bet the factory came up with these just to cover up the pinholes on those that didn't get the V6 or V8...

if i were u i would put hemi badges on there to confuse the hell out of them i gurantee if any cocky ricers pulled up next to u and saw hemi badges they wouldnt even try and race

One thing for sure. Not many V8 daks with a V6 emblem. If any...

I see way more of the V6 Dakota's where the owners break of the V6 part and leave the MAGNUM part.
Then they proceed to put fat wheels and fake duals and nothing to back it up.
THOSE are the ones that make the Civic/Cavalier/S10 guys all think Dakota's are slow :p

1990 sport RC SB, 1995 318drivetrain, 3.92 gears (came with truck) 95 dash/steering wheel, hearthrob exhaust, headers, cutout after y-pipe, necessary electric fan add-a-leafs, 30x9.5 mud tires, cranked T-bars, AR 39 15x8 rims, grill guard, roll bars

somebody swapped a 6 cyl into a dakota once, its the fastest dakota in the world as far as i know
