Well. The duals with Glass Packs were awesome. Loud as hell too. Set off alarms very easily even at a distance. Scared women and children, etc etc.

But. It was kind of too loud such as when I would tow the Toy Hauler for 3 hours at a time. Under a load that was pretty loud in the cab.

I had the one Flowmaster I had from my single exhaust. And another just like it from my bro in laws Dodge Ram. Recylcing to save money

I had to cut the end off and make them straight in and straight out. They each were offset on one end.
Also extended one side with 2 1/2" pipe to weld in place of the glass packs.

A tight fit but got them in there. May have a few pin hole leaks to find and fix. Welding on my back is very hard. Getting burned often too and can't reach certain areas. The mods and welds are not the prettiest to look at. But it's not exactly visible up in there so who cares about grinding these welds.

It is quieter in the cab than the glass packs. Still sounds pretty mean. Still 2 1/2" duals form the manifolds, through 2 1/2" cats, 2 1/2" flowmaster 40 series delta flow.

If I didn't tow long trips I would stick to the glass packs.
Anyone who just wants loud and mean as hell, stick with glass packs. Nothing is louder except straight pipes.

Will get some updated sound clips soon.

What do you mean relocated the opens?

The only thing I changes this time was cut out the glass packs. Welded in the old Flows in their place. Still dumps behind each rear tire.

The welds are not pretty when welding galvanized metal while laying on your back. Stopping each time hot liquified metal lands on you where the helmet or gloves didn't protect you :(

It's still about the ONLY way to get duals this size on a 4X4. The shops bender can NOT make radius' this tight. So fabricating is my only option.

I will grab my dig-vid-camera and take it with me. Have to leave soon for my kids b-day party at a Pizza joint.

I'll see if I can get some sound samples.
