Message: One of the techs at work bought a Prommer. Has anyone done their own performance chip? We have the prommer, blank chips and software to run the prommer. Is the factory chip socketed or soldered, I haven't pulled my ECM yet.? It not what he got it for, but it would be cool if we could. I guess we would have to buy one and make copies of it. I'm not sure how else to get the programming. Any thoughts on this from anyone?
