I have a 2000 Dakota Regular Cab with the Mopar PCM Flash and i was wondering if i can put a chip in it or is it already like a chip? and what kind of horsepower adds do you think it added? would a chip help or would it make it worse?

There were a number of different flashes the dealer could have done to your '00; I'm not aware of any that added power, and some may have even lessened power. A few of us have added power through custom flashes; and many of the guys seem to like Superchips. The jet chip generally gets poor reviews.

Kowalski,
I took a look a one not too long ago and had a problem. I have a 97 and it's for a 98 and up. Do you think I could still run one?

I'm happy with the HO cams, more torque through the whole range; or there's a couple of hotter alternatives.
