I think this will be close, but what do you guys think? my friend has a 99 R/T with a genII, jet stage II chip, and duel exhaust.
this is my combo: 5.2, 5speed, 3:64 (the tire i have brings the 3:55 to 3:64) with limited slip
my mods: 14x2" open element k&n, mag perf TB, gibson cat back, 3923's, msd wires, and 180 T-stat
what do you guys think? Oh both are CC's

Is it okay to remove the factory fan clutch and fan on a '00 4.7 cc? I want to remove it for the HP gains but not sure if I can with A/C or not. It has an electric fan on it from the factory. Is the water pump pulley pressed on or should I get a nut for the pulley?

After adding 3923s and a 180 t-stat you should be able to beat him, but if your friend has a jet stage II chip there's no way you'll win! Sorry kota on 20s!

if that jet chip has been on very long you should be able to beat him, this is because his optimum engine performance has been lost because the PCM has learned around the degrading effects of that "jet power module" and most likly has set itself to "default" mode. A reset of the PCM WITHOUT the chip will fix this, however. I found this out the hard way, I bought one of those doorstops (that's what I use it for now) junk junk junk
