Message: I havea 98 dak with the 6lug bolt pattern. I have a friend with a toyota truck with 5 lug pattern.He has a set of 18's with low-profile tires that he wants to sell me for CHEAP. I was wondering if there was anything i can buy or get done to change my lug pattern to 5 lug or if i am just screwed and have to pass up the opportunity. thanks brandon
Message: You could always get wheel apapters that can change the bolt pattern, but I wouldn't recomend them, especially on a truck. While usually ok to use, they can break when under a heavy load of any kind causing the wheel to come off, and if the wheel offset isn't just right, you could end up with those wheels sticking off the sides a couple inches. I think you might be better off finding another set of wheels.
