oh ey toolfan, i got 13.6 mpg on this tank

thats usually what i get, but i floored it a number of times and topped out 3rd gear at around 100.

also when i did that, i put it in overdrive still floorin it and it seemed like a governor kicked in (it was like i let off the gas but i was on it)...there isnt a governor on my truck right?!?? it was weird!

idk if there is a governor or not on your truck but i bet if there is one then it would be 113mph or high and not at 100mph?

what kind of truck or car does the guy have?

if i'm ever in orange county I'll give him a run for his money. haha

i live in "Palmdale"

i think i'm going to bunch up the floor mats so i can't floor it. that should help gas mileage

the speed limiter the facory uses usually depends on what tire/wheel combo came on the truck.

I had the same problem with my membership. It was because I used a symbol such as % in my password. Ya, it doesn't like that. So I had to e-mail in and get them to manually change it. Works fine now. It's the first day I've actually been able to use my profile. LOL.. Hope that helps you.

NO NO NO!!! Thats my girlfriend. Never get married man. I'm in the army so marriages don't usually last that long. Don't want your wife leaving taking everything. So don't get married. Hell, I've heard horror stories, some guys didn't even get the Dakota. LOL!!! Not worth the risk.

I've contacted them already, and they said they didn,t know if there was enough interest. They also asked if I wanted to drive to there shop and have a system developed for my truck(2000R/T R.C.)I would simply have to pay for the parts and they would supply the R&D and labour. Sounds like a good idea until you realize I'd have to blow off a week or two of work, drive the 1800 miles to their shop(Ilive in Canada), and then pay for food and lodging.

If there is sombody local to them, contact them and offer to lend your truck as the guinea pig. I would if time and money(and the wife) permitted.
