SO i had a kenne bell installed 3 years ago by a local speed shop. THought i had a pretty good thing going with the guy. I noticed I had a leaky valve cover gasket the other day. Pick up the gasket and go to work. I get to one of the back bolts and the damn thing just spins. I pull out the bolt and the damn thing is busted. SH%T! so i pull the cover off and take a look. THE FRIGGIN GUY BUST THE BOLT, way back when he did the charger.(Only thing i can think cuz no one else has touched the truck). The worst part is he tried to drill it out and BUST THE DAMN BIT OFF IN THERE. What a whore. THEn instead of fixing it he puts the cover back on and leaves it like that. No wonder the damn thing leaked, and who knows for how long. (tough spot to see) I friggin drilled on that damn thisg for hours, and about 10 bits. I had to go out and buy a carbide to get the damn thing out. Needless to say i now have to use a long bolt with a nut on the end( thank God the bolts go through the head). I paid this jerk off good money to install my kit and I'll tell ya he ain't seeing any more of my money!!!

yep.. it's hard to find someone to do a job and take care of your stuff... When I first got my truck I needed an alarm and at the time I was too lazy and didnt have the know-how to do it myself,... I get it back with the unit DUCT TAPED to my steering column and then none of the functions worked except to unlock the door and the siren... about $140 for that job.. To top it off, they used the wrong screws in a lot of interior pieces and now they wont fit properly due to stripped pieces... I'm scared to take my truck and have anything else done anywhere... Mainly because I know my truck inside and out and its like..rape.. lol

I do do most of my own work..... that's why this jerkoff pisssed me off so much. He knew what a whore it was going to be to get that bit out of there so he figured "screw it, ain't my truck, let's hope it just seals up". Not the right attitude to run a business. It's not like i live in a huge city where word of mouth isn't such a big deal. I've been talking this guy up for the last 3 years cuz i thought he did a good job. So much for that, it's nothing but sh&t talking for his business now. And i got lots of freinds!!!

Ya i bought the truck brand new. I have no idea why he would take it off to install it. Only reason i can think of was to make more room in there. A lot of the vacum lines as well as AC lines and the oil dipstick were all relocated with the install, maybe to get a better look at teh fuel rail for aux injectors, don't really know. I know the instructions did not mention removing it. He was the only guy to touch my motor besides me though. Can't see it coming from factory that way!! Maybe a broken bolt but a busted drill bit????... I've calmed down now....... he just ain't going to see any more of my business....
