I was going to ask what Mike just did.

What IS your truck.

And, maybe that Hemi had a programmer to get rid of some of the lag. I think our 3.8 Minivan would take one to 30 or so. :)

I took them to 50 maybe 60 at the trsack before they got me on the back 1/8 of the 1/4
That was 2WD Hemi's too.

I hope to get revenge next time.

my truck is a 98 5.2 cc 2wd 3.55 open and has 152000miles and also "death flash!" dammit

mods
flowmaster super 40
home made intake
and a paper weight tbs

i just spun to much of the line, i think the hemi was stock but it would have killed the 5.0 mustang i raced.

i did what you sad Mike and held the truck at 900rpm but still the one damn tire can't grab. i have a lot of air in my tires like 38psi so to think i would get good traction is unreal. when i get a good job i want to get this truck into the 14s down the 1/4

your truck looks like it runs good Graphite and i hope you seek revenge on those Hemis. the rpm's aren't to high at 60mph either. thanks for taking one for the team. hehe

Thats cool toolfan. See the thing is now that if you have a little tension on the driveshaft it helps than to just nail it. Try lowering the tire pressure to 27 psi and then burning the tires and let teh rpms ups to about 800-900 and then let er' rip. I couldhook up 70% of the time at the track doing this. Now of course the launch could be ALO better with slocks but to give you an idea well you know....lol

that is the only reason why i do it is because the drivetrain has a little bit of slack i prefer to put tension on it before the launch.
i was hanging with a 15.1 truck so i wasn't sad that i got smoked.

"just wait hemis!!!"
