Im looking to put a dynomax ultra flo exhaust on my 97 5.2, and the heat shield in the cat is rattling. Woudl i be alright with leaving the cat without changing it and puttin on the new exhaust or will that create more problems later on?

if the cat is bad or going bad i would replace it or take it off. i think there $ expensive but it will plug up the truck and stop it in its trackz.
i love my flowmaster super 40 and good luck with you dynomax i have heard they sound good.

i have a dynomax on my 360 ram
it sounds nice, its not nearly as loud as my little brothers flowmaster, but its got a nice deep tone, not rappy like a flowmaster
