Do any of you know of a company that makes an 8 point roll cage for a 1996 Dakota? A few companies make them for the newer dakotas but i havent seen any for my body style.

S&W Racecars makes a cage for your truck. I have this cage in my 91. Even though it says on there website this cage is for the new body style it went right in. Just give them a call, if you have questions. There website is WWW.SWRACECARS.COM.

All this cage does is prevent injury during a roll over, correct? Or does it also help in flexing? Just wondering...

It also helps in flexing. I don't think my passenger side front tire ever left the ground until I got my cage. Now both tires are up about 4 inches on most runs.
