 Subject: Functional Hood Scoop

So I was searching online for a functional hood scoop for my 01 QC. I found plenty of hoods but im looking for a specific type. Does any one know where i can get a hood and kit that has a bowl type piece that goes around the air filter and when the hood is shut make a type of housing around the filter. i once saw a pic og something like this and i loved the idea. thanks for any info.

Look for a shaker hood. They look nice and do exactly what you want. They even move when you step on the gas. They are a bit pricey though.

Do the shaker hood search at www.summitracing.com, they seem to be the cheapest from what I've seen.

The Shaker hood is the only model which is still available that completely encloses the air filter. The Elite Customs GTS hood came with a fiberglass shell but they went out of business years ago.
