Yes. Many have done it. Even a FMS 19# injector is an improvement.

FMS= Ford Motorsports. 19# is stock up until i think '00. my '00 3.9 has 21# injectors. the FMS are a better design injector than what we have stock in a dak but are a direct replacement. check out www.fiveomotorsport.com.

Dodge injectors use a single pintle design. Fuel is atomized through 1 hole. The FMS ones use a 4-hole spray pattern. You get better fuel atomization and coverage.
