I have receantly bought a stage II power chip and am wondering where a person can find a low temp thermostat for the 4.7L?
I also am wondering how much power you actually gain from one of these power chips?

I got my T-stat from Speadtweaks. I really like my Jet. Just dont expect it to feel like you bolted on a super charger. It does feel like it has a nice improvement in torque and a bit more HP, especially around 3000 rpm. Really kicks in nicely there.

I got a Robert Shaw GT755-180 at AutoZone. People say it fits but I haven't had time to put it in yet.

I would like to know if the thermo worked from Azone worked. Done a few mods cold air, splitfire plugs, change muffler out. Does the TB spacer make a diff? Just looking for some tips on hp. Have 5spd so I dont know if chips will do anything.

TB spacers are a waste of $$. speedtweaks.com for all yer needs. Changing the T-Stat in the 4.7 is a challenge, kinda tight down there, but I did it, I like my 180 T-stat. No more pinging and that is with 180 t-stat, 5w30 wt oil, 3923 autolites, and 87 octane fuel.

I got my t-stat from Autozone. I had a good experience with the tb spacer on the 4.7. It improved my low end and gas mileage. But it is different for everyone from what I have found out.

TB spacer might be coming off soon....I cant,
for the life of me figure out why making the
overall diameter of the intake smaller, and
adding a few threads can make you gain any
HP.

I read speedtweaks letter to poweraid, and
decided that it might be time to sell it. I just
ported my TB and it looks like the TB spacer is
restricting the air, all it seems to do is make a
cool whistling sound....

When I first got the TB spacer, I recieved the
airaid intake, and Jet2 all at the same
time...So I cant really say if it added more
power or not, maybe I will run w/o it for a week
or so, and see if I notice a power difference.
