I have the same woes I think.... label for pcm flash is for tsb 18-001-01 which I think is the death flash as well.......

I don't know if this will undo it or not, but try a SuperChips Tuner,
it may unlock it, and undo the death flash.
my motor pings some, with 93, performance setting with superchips.
I know i could retard the timing some to help the pinging, but I will lose low end.
PS Toolfan, on your post about driving fast, some Troll took my name and started talking crap, just to let you know, and i am probably going to have to change my name, cause they always seem to steal mine, an administrator should do something about it

You CAN do something about it. Since you seem to be a die hard Dakota member like many of us, take the $30 or so and REGISTER your user name.
Then NO ONE can use your name but you!
And you get the bomus of being able to use cool signatures, etc :)
I think it's worth it. I know there are SEEVRAL cool guys in here that haven't registered. But the trolls are getting rediculous lately. The Toyota boards must be very boring for the Toy owners, so we get them and the S-10 idiots on the Dakota site :(

I second GraphiteDak's membership recommendation. Even though I didn't get trolled much, I didn't want my good name to be used for evil purposes. :-) I can be very opinionated, and I want Modain's postings to really be his.
About the death flash, check this post in the V8 forum. This poster said the SC cured his problem. I'm sure it'll do it for you.
