With my current mods listed how much rwhp do you all think I am getting? WHat about rwtq?
I dynoed my truck stock with a CAI and I put down
180 rwhp @ 4000rpm & 251 ft/lbs @ 3290rpm
1999 RC Auto 5.2L
Mopar PPH, Magnaflow 3" w/cut-out 3.90s/Suregrip 50mm Fastman TB
Track Times:
9.47 @ 72.12mph
14.89 @ 91.03 mph

1996, 318, auto
Dynoed my truck today (1996, 318, auto) with the following mods:
Gibson headers, JBA Y-pipe, carsound cat, IAT adjuster, K&N intake, 180 stat and 3923's
184 RWHP @ 4250RPM
242 RWTQ @ 3500RPM
I also just found out I had a death flash so those numbers could be improved greatly. I was not too impressed by those numbers since they were oly about 10 HP higher than stock.

I htought the dreaded DEATH FLASH was only on the 4.7's? I guess the pain's been going around for a while.

do you have a stick or is it just an auto? i drove my friends rc dak 318 stick and its stock and would bet my 318 cc auto and i have mods. i wish i had a rc dak stick.

the death flash was a quick fix for the dealers when a customer complained about the engine pinging too much. they flashed the pcm to take out some of the timing advance which resulted in a loss of power along with the loss of pinging.

Im suprised I never noticed it since there is a big sticker on the underside of the hood that says it has been reflashed. I also thought it was only on the newer trucks but I researched it and found out I have it.

so you check under the hood and there is a sticker there that says if it was death flashed. how much power do you lose.
