Can you out run a Dakota with 10 sheets of 3/4 plywood in the back of your Mustang. The Dakota is a pickup truck. Mustang is a sports car.

A mustang can't haul firewood, appliances, camping gear, etc.

If I buy a washer and dryer, I don't have to pay for delivery...YOU DO. hahahahahahahahahaha!

All of those things can be hauled in a little thing called a trailer. With the mustang you don't have to haul your hauling capability with you 365/24/7. You guys aren't presenting a very convincing arguement.

Just tell him that you prefer Dakotas just like he prefers Mustangs. There are plenty of cars/trucks faster than his Mustang and he doesn't have one of them.

Of course he already knows how stupid he is. Why entertain him?

The dakota with the 4.7 is almost identical is design as the 4.6 mustang. I own both and use lots of go fast mustang parts on my dokota. So you really cannot bust on either the 4.6 mustang or the 4.7 dakota. Both are great at what they where built for.

This guy is funny. Ill tell ya what J2 if you can tow my 28' aquarius sailboat 70 miles to Lake Erie (and be chillin in the AC on the way) then stop by the track on the way home and run in the 13s. Maybe then Ill say your mustang is better than my truck.

PS. Id love to see a mustang pull down one of the boat loading ramps with my boat. It would probobly pull the poor stang in.

I own one of each, an 03 cc 4wd 4.7l 5-speed dak and a 94 mustang gt vert (5.0 baby) and I can say my mustang sees 10-12k miles a year, mostly over the summer, and my truck sees about 8k miles a year mostly over these NE winters... Both have thier virtues but if I had to choose only one, the Dakota wins because besides the convertible top there is NOTHING my car can do that my truck can't (although it is much quicker than the dak).

Not to feed the troll, but the scary thing is a stock SRT-4 (4-banger) will absolutely blow the doors off a 5.0 in all aspects, 0-60, 1/8 and 1/4 mile. Just check out the specs on any automotive site with consumer and professional reviews... Now, my '72 stang I used to have with the built-up 351W 4spd would... once the tires stopped spinning.... smoke the SRT-4 or our daks, but that's a whole nother monster there.....
