I was reading some past post to get an idea of a cold air intake when I came across this http://www.dodgedakota.net/boards/v8/2184.html
If you scroll down a bit you will see a intake for DaveR's truck. Does any body know how he got the dual intake and how it is routed for the ram air. If DaveR is out there I would really like to know some more about this intake. The under hood temps from my headers is hurting my air temp with my K&N open element.

Hard to see from that small/dark picture but the box looks like the one from Air Inlet Systems (do a google search for their site).

I've been using one on my Gen III for the past 5 years. The Gen II/III engine bays are different and have a different layout but, in my '97, I run the air ducts up to each side of the rad. The pass. side needs only the removal of the rubber-type flap. The driver's side is more involved ... relocation of the battery and removal/relocation of the rad's overflow bottle.
The Rams have enough clear engine bay space to route the ducts down and then forward to just under the bumper.

check the junk yards, some of the old cars had dual snorkel air cleaners
or jsut do some custom fabbing
i have access to all the stuff required i could chocp a hole in mine and run another snorkel out the other side
