 Subject: March pulleys

I have a 92 dak with 5.2 I purchased a set of march underdrive pulleys for it but I can't put the fan pulley on because the water pump i got a while back from the local dodge dealership the pulley doesn't come off with bolts. The pulley was on the water pump when I bought it. I was wondering If I could still use the other 2 pulleys on it. thanks for any answers.

you may have charging problems with the alternator pulley. there are a few posts on here of people that have had problems set up like that.
i have just a crank pulley on my '00 and have had no ill effects. even still have the original battery.

Yes, you can use just the 2 pulleys. I bought a set a while back off a Ram guy that did just that. Used the crank and alt pulley, but water pump was pressed on and could not use it. You will need a different sized belt though. Call March and they can tell you. I think I might have a part number at home too.

Thanks for the response daddio & Sneezer I contacted March before by email and they told me with the three pulleys I could stick with stock belt which I didn't think would be correct. If you do have part number I would appreciate if you posted it. Thank you

950K6 - Kelly Springfield. You should be able to cross reference the number to a Gaates or Goodyear. This is the belt I got from the guy I bought my set from and was not running the WP pulley. I have heard as well that when using all 3 pulleys the stock size belt is used.

The belt part number you gave me is a 6 rib belt my pulley are a 7 rib will that belt work?

Yes, the 6-rib will work. There are few 7-rib belts available for our trucks once you start messing with UD pulleys or S/C setups. And yess, that should be with AC.
