the problem i am having is that the drivers side of the motor seems like it is getting way to much fuel.i just had the motor apart 2 weeks ago when i put the new m1 intake on and 1.7 rr. i went to start it last night and it started and died and then i when to start it again and wouldn't start. the only way i can get it to run is if i hold the throttle all the way open. i pulled the spark plugs on the driver side and they are just covered in fuel. pulled the spark plug on the other side and they are fine. is it possible for all the spark plugs to be bad on the drivers side. well if can help thank

Bad o2 will make one bank run rich or lean. Is the check engine light on?

check for codes. dakdog is right could be O2

if no codes, check each plug & wire for fire.

i have checked for codes and the one i got was be for this happened. i did find a plug wire that had some burns from the header do you think it could be grounding out the rest of the plugs or messing with when they are firing.

dude, the original cap & rotor? how many miles?
i think you should change them first. i changed mine on my '00 @ 30K miles and they were pretty much toast.

get a good cap & rotor with brass contacts. i got a borg warner brass cap & rotor from o'reilly's. others on here recommend the napa brand. as long as it has brass contacts. they conduct better and last longer than aluminum.
