the car made 407.8rwhp & 399.8rwtq without nitrous

what do you guys think i might run, i see threads all the time with people asking for an estimate. now its my turn I need some numbers because this jackass in a heavly modded 03' lightning wants to race my camaro for money. i dont think i need to worry but his truck is quick i think he ran a low 12 with it.

The name of this site is www.dodgedakotas.com, why dont you try www.ls1tech.com. That would make the most sence since you have a Camaro and not a dakota. I am sure they would have a better idea of what you will run.

With nitrious I'd say that would run mid to low 11's depending on its weight. Just don't miss your shifts.

someone makes software for just such a question. weight will be a definite factor which you seem to have left out.

LOL, sorry i have an 02 grafite cc R/T as a daily driver, i browse this board pretty offten just looking around but i hardly post. you guys have always been helpful when i did though thats why i asked.

The weight is somewhere around 3,300-3,400 ive removed weight, but also added extra parts which means more weight.
thanks for the help, i hope he doesnt bitch about me using N2O, if he wants me to run without it, i will kindly ask him to remove his blower, LOL

It makes me feel better that you have a dakota and your not just rubbing your fast car in our faces. My freinds 2002 Z28 auto ran 13.4 stock. With a 100 shot of nitrous and nothing else it ran 12.5 on the same day, same conditions. You will easily beat the hell out of the ford with your mods. BTW, he has the factory 2.73 gears and 245/55/16's, I think thats the factory tire size.

when ever anyone asks if my car is "fast", or " i bet that things quick" i always respond "it does alright", my friends say that i say it like my cars slow or something, thats how the name came about, i guess im just a modest person.

I havnt been back to the track since it was bone stock. in humid ass west texas on an 85* day at a crappy DA it ran a 14.001 with no mods on street tires.

im supposed to run this guy tonight we'll see what happens.

How'd the race come out? Did you put that ford in its place?
