I was driving down the high way today coasting at about 120 km per hour. I decide to give it 3/4 throttle and the rpms jumped to red line and no power was produced. It felt like my truck went into neutral. So I took my foot off the gas and it was fine. I tried again and the same thing happened. Anybody have any ideas what causes this?

What tranny?
And you do the simple things first like check the fluid level?
If it's full and it slips. It id toast.
