Message:
Been reading all over this message board lots of different opinions. I have a 98 Dak CC 4x4 5.2 auto. Due to the info on this message board and my budget I am thinking of going with a magnaflow 2.5 in/out high flow converter (my stock one is rattling) and the Flowmaster Force II single side out exhaust (I have heard a lot of good about both it and the magnaflow...my issue is that the flowmaster is 1/2 the price, literally. DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS SETUP ON THEIR DAKOTA? I'd like you opinion. How has the Magnaflow Cat held up? and did it pass emissions? I am going to use the dakota for daily driving to work and also to tow my travel trailer (about 4000 lbs) Will this exhaust help or hinder towing. I also thought about a K & N Drop in. What do you think?

Thanks in advance for your advise/opinion

I have a 97 Dakota 4x4 5.2L with a full 3 inch
exhaust system from the headers all the way to the tip. I used the Magnaflow 3 inch high flow
cat. I think that it is a good part have had no
problems with it, been in over 8 months. I used mopar cat back system and headers. Flowmaster in
my opinion is top notch, nice sound too.
As far as performance I do not think it will be
something you will feel, but should help a little with gas mileage. Hope this helps.
