It's an axial flow high speed electric fan that draws about 60 Amps and spins at 25,000 RPM.
Notice on the Lab Test Results page, the meter and gauge readings are taken with the device not installed in a vehicle, except the last picture, and no air filter was on the intake side. That's an important piece that should have been installed for true product representation.
I watched the film clips, too. It's an impressive little air mover, but it's also very loud, and the high-pitched whine from the fan blades just might drive a person nuts.
I drove around the site a bit looking for some useful information (CFM, noise level, etc.) but all I saw was hype.
It very well may work as advertized, but $300 ($600 for the "super" version) is a bit steep.
My $0.02.

Yeah, the whine of the blades would drive a person nuts, but if you read about it, it only comes on at WOT, so that wouldn't be to bad.

you could probably make one from an old turbo and an electric motor. one available from any good hobby store like a "reedy, orion, ect. motor. those really powerful high rpm ones are the ones I'm talking about.
