That's still a lot of coin for a truck that can't really be used as a truck; while a lighter car with the same motor/price range will be quicker. Too bad they wouldn't just let us have the motor as an option and let people do the other mods as they please.

About the comment about the irresponsible 16 year olds. I know what you're talking about. I am 16 coincidently, but I've seen my fair share of irresponsible drivers on the road. One accident I avoided was when I was driving my brother's V6 mustang when a turbo eclipse blew by me and skidded in front of me when someone cut him off. Hopefully I'll be getting a Dakota soon. Probably over the summer unless I find a good one before then.

no offense to the Dakota, but i'd be getting something different if I had $35,000 to spend on a truck.

I wonder how many of today's current teens (or anyone else for that matter) would check off the radio delete box (if there was one) when ordering the Hemi? Battleship grey primer, black steel wheels, chrome lug nuts, radio delete, rubber floor mats, taxi cab interior. Ahhhhh, those were the days! Hey, if they offered that, do ya think they could get the Hemi Dak down to maybe 10 grand? :-D
Stick a "Meep meep" horn on it, and it's the '69 RoadRunner all over again!
