I have a 94 Grand Cherokee 5.2L. I get a check engine light that tells me I have a problem with the overdrive solenoid. My ABS light is also on. A mechanic told me they were related and that the solenoid is inside the tranny. Anyone ever replaced that before or know anything about it? Thanks for the info

I also have a 94 5.2l grand the mechanic that you talked to was wrong the systems are not related there is a separate computer for the abs system in you jeep

a brand new mopar 360 5.9 crate engine with 320 horse(the engine
can be seen at mopar .com,would this be an easy fit and what other
mods would I have to make for this to work well.

the jeep has an aw4 trans in it unlike these trucks. so unless you get somone who knows jeeps on here more than me your out of luck.
as goes the 360... its the exact same motor with different mopar stuff on it. make sure you get the 2 barrel intake since you will be using the stock 2 barrel throttle body.other than that all the connections should hook right up. along with accessories.

The 5.9 GC does NOT have an AW4 trans, those were in 4.0 XJs and very early ZJs with the 4.0.
The 5.9 is equipped with the 46RE trans. I think the only difference is the starter is on the passenger side, at least thats where it was on my 5.2:-).
