I went to Auto zone, and their Thermostats for the Dakota 4.7L were roughly 30 bucks or a little less.

it was the Stock T-Stat Though, the 192 or whatever, which 180 T-Stat will fit on the 4.7?

sorry if this sounds stupid, I am a Stupid Person

my Current GPA is 2.882, just for getting all Cs last semester, this semester I got and A, a B, and a C, so it brought it up a little, the C was in Statistics.

just, which T-stat will fit on the 4.7L Dakota.?

how will this T-stat help my truck, ? in what ways?

Huh? $30? www.autozone.com shows that the 4.7L thermostat is not even available from them. Are you sure you are talking about the right part?

sorry bout that, it was Advanced Auto, not Autozone.

also, it was for a replacement T-Stat,

apparently they don't make a 180 for the 4.7,(not stock at least)

but I know anyone would fit, if it was the right size, so.

I ain't even worried bout getting one now, I'll just forget it

The 4.7L (and 3.7L) t-stat is a little different than most.
It has a protrusion that blocks the bypass port when the t-stat is open.
I took a new OEM unit, and start shortening the spring a little at a time until it opened at 180*.
It's easy if you got patience.
