I'm not saying to sacrifice performance for sound. Hell, I think I've got one bad a$$ sounding SINGLE exhaust truck here!

But you CAN have TRUE DUALS perform as well or even BETTER if it's done CORRECT.

As far as if someone wants to RUN duals or not, I just think it's a waste to actually split a single into dual outlets on a truck. It usually sounds damn right FUNKY I think. kind of like an old Am transistor radio compared to a nice stereo one :)

Oh, as far as doing some off roading.

Anyone who has been on this site a while KNOWS I have taken my truck through some sh*t most asphault posers would not even consider!

Poser here too...I started with a flowmaster 50 but it was too obnoxiously loud, not to mention cabin resonance @2000RPM. So I switched out the flowmaster for a spintech and it sounds fantastic, and actually gets quieter as you hit it--but it sounds mean regardless. Just not as annoying as the flowmaster was.

I must have just got lucky.

Flowmaster 40 series delta flow 3" single in/out (3" by mistake of lopers Performance which I reduced down to 2 1/2").

Is kind of TOO quiet in the cab. If the windows are UP, it's hardly noticable.

But outside it's pretty loud. The few times I've heard my wife drive it away I realized that.

Oh and there's NEVER a drone at ANY highway speed. I've heard the Flowmaster drone before. And yes, it kind of is annoying when you get that drone. But it doesn't do it at all on my truck. Musta got lucky with my combination.
We put one on my friends V6 Nissan. It was pretty much a Fart Can/Drone combo LOL! I guess you just need a GOOD sounding V8 to begin with!
