DIY Step-by-Step. Installing a K&N Air Filter.

Hey guys and gals.
I created a Step-by-Step with detailed pictures on replacing your old stock air filter and installing a New K&N Air Filter.

It's a Bummer that i can't upload the pictures to here but if your interested in checking it out you'll have to come to my Homepage at Cardomain.com.

The Step-by-Step is on my second page so when you got a free minute come by my Homepage at ( http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/813977 )

I think it's pretty cool. let me know what you guys think. I know it's a fairly simple job to do but i had lots of fun doing this sort of thing.

Take care and Thanks in Advanced.

Jim.

Why not?

I see they had a foam seal there at the fender where my 2003 did not.

I used a drop in at first myself. But I like the additional room I have reaching around my engine without that air hat and filter box.
One turn of the clamp to reomove the felco from the TB and I can lift my air intake out.

You DID go through a lot to post all of that.

Just do this:

But put that command in between < and >

DakotaJimbo, the blue print is VERY VERY hard to
read, at least for me it is. It drove me nuts!

GraphiteDak, your pictures and print taken from
the web site are 110% better.

Thanks Radio man :)
I am fairly particular in my 'documentary' of my Dakota mods.

DakotaJimbo, that IS my Dakota with a 40 series Flowmaster.

I didn't notice you had a sound clip. I just looked on your site for the images to help you post.

I want duals on mine. probably will go Glass Packs if I do and header, full length. Even if I have to MAKE some.

WHEN I get extra monto to spend of course. I'm behind my schedule to pay off my other things first :( This summer isn't looking to good for Dak mods so far!
