Besides, I wouldn't recommend buying a "used" muffler. Heck, if you don't care about the looks of the tail pipe go to your local muffler store and have them install just a flowmaster muffler. Now, which series do you want(how loud do you want it)? On my truck, I had a two-chambered flowmaster installed and dumped before axle and they also took the cat out and stuck a offroad pipe in there. Very loud, the way I like it (mine is a 318 though). Cost: 250 for parts and labor at a local shop.
P.S. I wouldn't recommend dumping the exhaust because I lost some noticable torque. Top end is great!
