I weighed my truck at work today,

WOW
2001 Quad, SLT
manual tranny,
the real mag spare,
cab high Leer shell
and about 18gallons of gas,

4535lbs!

I stepped on the scale beside my truck,
In my dress clothes, shoes, wallet ,cell phone
+165lbs
4700lbs!

So without the shell, and not myuch gas, it'd be about 300 less, loolse the mag spare, tailgate, ....., oh the possibilities

Still, that's heavy, an accurate digital scale too.

I was wondering what my Leer cover and factory bedliner weighed. I'm going to lose the factory rear bumper soon. I figure that if I lost the bumper, liner, cover and heavy assed R/T wheels, I would shave about 400 lbs.

I think it's also amazing that Daks are as heavy as they are. They sure aren't tin cans.

I also forgot to mention a spray in liner.

This was a accidentally a double post, more on the other thread.
